Philosophy

Your site is your highest-leverage hire.

It works 24/7, talks to every stranger, and either qualifies or disqualifies the deal before you ever get on a call. Most sites leak attention by the third scroll. Ours earn it, then compound it.

What you get

Designed, built, measured — in that order.

01

Site Strategy

Audience mapping, message hierarchy, conversion goals, SEO keyword cluster, information architecture, and page inventory — approved before we design a single screen.

02

Design System

Type scale, color tokens, spacing, motion language, component library, and page templates — built in Figma, documented so your team (or ours) can extend it without drift.

03

Page Design

Pixel-perfect comps across breakpoints for every page in scope. Copy crafted or sharpened alongside the design — never slotted in afterward.

04

Production Build

Static-first stack (Next.js or Astro) with a headless CMS (Sanity or Contentful) so your team can publish content without touching code. Deployed to Netlify, Vercel, or Cloudflare Pages.

05

Performance & Accessibility

Core Web Vitals budget enforced. WCAG 2.2 AA conformance checklist run before launch. Lighthouse 95+ on mobile is the baseline, not the ceiling.

06

SEO Foundations

Clean semantic HTML, sitemap, robots, structured data, OG images, page titles & meta descriptions, internal linking map, and a 30-day post-launch keyword watch.

07

Analytics & Events

GA4 or Plausible, conversion events wired up, a dashboard you'll actually check, and a written read-out at 30 and 60 days.

08

Launch & Handoff

DNS, SSL, redirects from the old site, team training on the CMS, and a written operations doc. You own the code, the content, and the domain.

Fit check

Who this is (and isn't) for.

Good fit

  • Teams whose current site is underselling the work — either outdated, slow, or off-brand.
  • Operators raising, hiring, or scaling who need a site that holds up under investor / partner scrutiny.
  • Brands that want to own their stack — no page-builder lock-in, no "who built this again?" six months later.
  • Clients who want the same senior hand on strategy, design, copy, and ship.

Not a fit

  • WordPress template migrations or Squarespace theme installs.
  • E-commerce catalogs over ~100 SKUs — there are specialist studios we'll refer you to.
  • "Match this competitor's site" briefs with no underlying strategy.
  • Timelines shorter than eight weeks. Good web work takes time.

Modern, boring, portable. We favor tools you'll still be able to hire for in five years.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can you work with our existing brand, or do we need the brand engagement first?

If your brand system is current and documented, we can build against it. If it's thin, outdated, or contradictory, we'll recommend starting with the brand engagement — shipping a site on a weak brand is expensive twice.

Will we own the code?

Yes. You get the repository, the CMS instance, the domain, the analytics, and the deployment. We work on the open web. No proprietary page builders, no vendor lock-in.

Can our marketing team update the site without developers?

Yes — that's the whole point of the CMS. Anything that should be editable will be. Anything that shouldn't (design tokens, layout primitives) stays safely in code.

Do you do ongoing work after launch?

Yes. A post-launch retainer — typically 20–60 hrs/month — covers iteration, new pages, A/B testing, and analytics review. Most clients roll into one after ship.

What about e-commerce?

For catalog-style stores we'll refer you to a specialist. For digital products, bookings, or light commerce on Stripe/Shopify, we handle it in-house.
